1.Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Maitrymoon on this website and on WhatsApp. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Maitrymoon.
2.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use Maitrymoon.
3.What Maitrymoon is — and isn't
Maitrymoon is an AI-powered Relationship Counsellor. It listens to each partner, asks objective questions and offers a perspective drawn from psychological and legal principles, to help you reflect and communicate better.
- It is not a licensed human therapist, counsellor, psychologist, doctor or lawyer, and does not provide medical or psychological treatment.
- It may share legal suggestions and recommendations, such as relevant legal principles and case law. These are general information to help you understand your situation. They are not legal representation and do not create a lawyer–client relationship; for decisions with legal consequences, please consult a qualified advocate.
- Its perspectives are based only on what you and your partner share, and are not a legal finding or a judgment about anyone.
- It is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger, or you are experiencing abuse or thoughts of self-harm, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.
4.AI limitations
Maitrymoon uses artificial intelligence, which can make mistakes, misunderstand context or produce responses that are incomplete or inaccurate. Use its guidance as one input for your own reflection, not as a substitute for your own judgment or professional advice. You remain responsible for the decisions you make.
5.No guaranteed outcomes
Every relationship is different. We cannot promise any particular result — including reconciliation, agreement or improvement in your relationship — from using Maitrymoon.
6.Your account and sessions
- Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Provide accurate information and use only your own phone number or email.
- Only invite a partner to a Partner Session with their knowledge and agreement. Each partner must accept these terms to take part.
- A session stays open for up to 24 hours of inactivity or until it is completed, whichever comes first. Chats are then deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Save anything you wish to keep before your session ends.
7.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Maitrymoon for anything unlawful, harmful, abusive or threatening.
- Share another person's private information without their permission.
- Use Maitrymoon's responses to harass, intimidate or manipulate anyone.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the service.
- Scrape, copy or resell the service or its content.
8.Free sessions, plans and payments
- Free sessions are offered at our discretion and may change or end at any time.
- Paid plans are charged at the price shown at the time of purchase, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by our payment partner.
- As sessions are a digital service delivered immediately, payments are generally non-refundable once a session has started. If you were charged in error or a session failed due to a technical fault on our side, contact us and we will review it fairly.
9.Referrals and promotions
Referral codes, offers and promotional codes are subject to the specific terms shown with them, have no cash value and may not be transferred. A referral code benefits only the new user who enters it; the person who shares a code does not receive a reward. We may withdraw benefits obtained through misuse, fake accounts or self-referrals.
10.Intellectual property
The Maitrymoon name, logo, website, design and software belong to us and are protected by law. You keep ownership of what you share with us, and give us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service to you.
11.Third-party services
Parts of Maitrymoon rely on third-party services such as WhatsApp and payment providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.
12.Suspension and termination
You may stop using Maitrymoon at any time. We may suspend or close your access if you breach these terms, misuse the service or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should continue — such as limitation of liability — will survive termination.
13.Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Maitrymoon is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on Maitrymoon's responses. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
14.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. We encourage you to contact us first — most concerns can be resolved quickly and informally.
15.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use Maitrymoon after an update means you accept the revised terms.
